Our Puppy Programs
Puppy Training that sets you up for a LIFETIME of success!
Start right. Avoid regrets. Train the dog everyone wishes they had.
Raising a puppy is equal parts adorable and overwhelming. One moment they’re melting your heart with those eyes—and the next, they’re chewing your shoes, biting your hands, or peeing on the rug... again.
If you want a well-mannered dog you can actually enjoy taking everywhere—without yelling, chasing, or apologizing—we can help.
At The Complete Canine, we don’t just train puppies. We train future dogs you'll be proud of. And we do it in a way that’s clear and structured.
Why Invest in Puppy Training Now?
Because puppy problems don’t “go away”—they grow up.
The biting becomes a painful habit. The barking becomes reactivity. The pulling becomes daily frustration.
What we teach now builds the foundation for polite leash walking, bulletproof recall, calm greetings, and confident independence.
Let’s give your pup the best start before you need to undo the bad habits.
What Does Puppy Training Look Like?
Training a puppy isn’t about forcing obedience—it’s about building skills, structure, and trust so your dog wants to listen. We teach you how to raise a puppy that’s calm, confident, and ready for real-life success.
Whether you're struggling with biting, crying in the crate, toileting accidents, or just want to start on the right foot, I've got you covered!
Place Training:
Teaching your pup how to settle calmly—without needing to be constantly entertained or underfoot.
Crate Training:
Creating a positive, safe space your puppy actually wants to rest in (and that helps with toilet training and independence).
Leash Walking:
We start building leash skills early, so it will be easier for you when your pup gets older!
Handling & Grooming:
Helping your puppy get comfortable being touched, bathed, and groomed—so vet visits and nail trims aren’t a battle.
Enrichment & Structure:
Mental stimulation to prevent boredom-based behaviours and a daily routine that builds calmness and good choices.
Recall Training:
Teaching your puppy the foundations to come when called—even with distractions—so you can trust them off-leash later.
How to book:
Fill in the Quizz on this page which will give me more information about you and your pup. I will get back to you within 24 hours.
Alternatively you can also book in a Meet & Greet directly through my booking page at a timeslot that works for you.
Just click on the 'Book Meet & Greet' button for that.

I don’t offer quick fixes — I offer real change.
If you're showing up, putting in the work, and following the plan but you’re still not seeing change by the end of your package, I'll support you with additional sessions until your dog reaches the goals we set together.*
Note:
This guarantee applies only to our full support programs not to single sessions, 3 or 6 session packages.
This isn’t a money-back guarantee. It’s a results partnership. We’re in this together.

Easy!
1. Fill out the contact form below, tell me about your puppy, challenges and your goals. This helps me recommend the best fit! We choose the best program together. No hard sells, just a honest conversation about what will help you and your puppy thrive long term.
From there we will look at both our schedules and availability so we can start training.
I come to you for private sessions and we train in and around your neighborhood, exactly where you will want to work on problems and have success.
For Puppy Day School I will pick your pup up and work from my home in Gulf Harbour or anywhere around the Hibiscus Coast.
You can start training as early as 8 weeks old with the most basic things. The earlier you begin, the easier it is to prevent bad habits and set your pup up for success. I like to start pups around 8-10 weeks old.
Yes! I run a variety of group classes, including structured puppy school programs.
Check the Group Classes tab for upcoming start dates, locations, and details on what each class includes. Spots are limited, so early booking is recommended!
It really depends on your dog, your goals, and the situation. I’m a balanced trainer, which means I use a mix of positive reinforcement and fair corrections tailored to each dog’s needs. For puppies everything is taught with positive reinforcement and corrections are rarely needed, besides using a leash to redirect them away from something that may be dangerous to them.
Yes! These common puppy behaviours are covered in all of our training programs. You’ll learn exactly what to do (and what to stop doing) to fix these.
I cover the Hibiscus Coast area
Gulf Harbour to Orewa & Milldale
North Shore
Warkworth & Snells Beach
Riverhead & Coatesville
I charge an $8 drive out fee per session for any clients outside of the Hibiscus Coast area.
West Auckland and Central Auckland on request and only outside peak traffic hours.
Groupclasses are held in Silverdale & Warkworth
I offer private training sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Group classes are held on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings, with a special reactive dog class on Saturday mornings.
To find a time that suits you best, we usually coordinate availability together via email.
Puppy Foundations is a 6-session starter plan. The Growing Pup Program offers more support and includes Day School. The Complete Puppy Program is our full-year transformation with everything included. We’ll help you choose the best fit - Just fill in the contact form or do the Quiz on the homepage.
If you start with Puppy Foundations and decide you want to go deeper, we’ll credit part of your payment toward a larger package.
Absolutely! In fact, I encourage it. Everyone who interacts with your puppy should be on the same page for faster results. I do prefer it if the adult takes charge and learns the methods first and the kids can learn after you had a go yourself.
